Brijen Patel

Hi there, I’m Brij! I’m a recent college grad and tech consultant, traveler, writer, and photographer. After I graduated, I began life on my own and taught myself the personal finance basics. I built a budget and started to save and invest to achieve solid financial footing and to make my dream of world travel a reality. I prefer to invest with a higher risk and return strategy but understand the value of a safe foundation. The bedrock of my personal finance machine is made up of passive, long term investments in index funds and ETFs. After those investments, I hold growth stocks and cryptocurrencies to capture higher potential returns. Through Finance Futurists, I plan to share what I’ve learned about setting a strong financial foundation, investing, and other lessons along the way. I believe that helping other young people learn financial literacy and good money habits will empower them to create the financial foundations to live their best lives.
